With just a handful of returning starters, Manchester will be breaking several new faces into varsity to roles in 2018.

The most experienced portion of the lineup is in the lower half from 106-138. Jonathan Salvemini and Syrus Colon are the returning wins leaders, with 15 each last season. We'll keep an eye on Salvemini down here at 106, as a senior with three years of experience, and 45 career wins, at that weight is usually capable of putting up a pretty good year against what is usually a younger weight class. Sophomore Tyler Huston could also be in store for a nice season, coming off a rookie campaign that saw him win 12 bouts and finish on the plus side of .500.

New starters will fill the middle at 145-160, but both junior Christian Caggiano and senior Kevin Rembach do have experience, with Rembach having the most with 26 varsity bouts to his credit.

Up top from 170-Hwt, senior Joe Pender and junior Blaise Lawson will look to prove some veteran leadership, as both enter their 3rd season as starters for the Hawks. Among the new starters up here will be a pair of seniors in Milan Kleva and Zach Felliciano. Also in the mix is junior Billy Barron, who got valuable varsity experience last season.

Overall, there's a lot of new faces here, and the team will look to learn and progress as the season goes. There's a some tough dates on the bill, including divisional foes Pt Boro and Lacey, as well as some non-divisional matchups with teams like St John Vianney and Ocean Township. The team can look to those tests as a chance to learn, and take aim at knocking off the programs of similar size and experience as them.
