A pretty even mix of experience and newcomers will make up this year's lineup for Manchester, who is coming off a solid 17-win season. The bulk of the experience in what should be a solid stretch from 132-160. Senior Chris Rodriguez won 29 bouts a year ago and was a Region qualifier in 2014. Christian Carney, Matt Miggliaccio, and Steve Rodriquez all reached the teens in wins last season, with Rodriguez placing 4th in the District.
The Hawks lost some firepower up top to graduation and will look to seniors Will Farparan and Phillip Pender to provide veteran leadership in a group that will be breaking in several new starters. Pender was a 17-bout winner a year ago, while Farparan won 26 matches and was a win away from qualifying for the Regions.
There are several new faces in the lineup, but there is a strong base of experienced juniors and seniors capable of carrying the load, especially early on, for the Hawks as they look to be involved in the race for the B-South title. They'll have one of their biggest divisional tests right out of the gate, as they head to Jackson Liberty on December 23rd. On the individual front, Chris Rodriguez and Will Farparan are both capable of hitting the 30+ win mark. They, and a couple others have the potential to make some noise come postseason.

A pretty even mix of experience and newcomers will make up this year's lineup for Manchester, who is coming off a solid 17-win season. The bulk of the experience in what should be a solid stretch from 132-160. Senior Chris Rodriguez won 29 bouts a year ago and was a Region qualifier in 2014. Christian Carney, Matt Miggliaccio, and Steve Rodriquez all reached the teens in wins last season, with Rodriguez placing 4th in the District.
The Hawks lost some firepower up top to graduation and will look to seniors Will Farparan and Phillip Pender to provide veteran leadership in a group that will be breaking in several new starters. Pender was a 17-bout winner a year ago, while Farparan won 26 matches and was a win away from qualifying for the Regions.
There are several new faces in the lineup, but there is a strong base of experienced juniors and seniors capable of carrying the load, especially early on, for the Hawks as they look to be involved in the race for the B-South title. They'll have one of their biggest divisional tests right out of the gate, as they head to Jackson Liberty on December 23rd. On the individual front, Chris Rodriguez and Will Farparan are both capable of hitting the 30+ win mark. They, and a couple others have the potential to make some noise come postseason.
