2019 Season Preview

There are a lot of new faces in the room this season, so there will be an emphasis on getting experience for the newcomers, and improving as a team as the season goes on.

Only a few starters return from last season. Among them is senior captain Syrus Colon, who had a strong offseason, and has put the work with an eye on having a big season in 2019.

Also returning for the Hawks is senior Blaise Lawson, who enters his 4th year in the starting lineup. He, along with fellow senior Josh Scott and junior heavyweight Dan Smith give the Hawks the potential for a strong upperweight trio that have an eye on making deep postseason runs.

The lowerweights look to consist mostly of new underclassmen, with sophomore TJ Bodie as the lone returning starter.

As mentioned, there are a lot of fresh faces in the room. There is enthusiasm towards building the team back up, getting experience and improving, while looking to be as competitive as possible.
